Objective of the project: “To promote the power of education and the family support, as the most important pillars, in preventing the illegal emigration, in the Kombinat Area, Tirana”.

Main intervention pillars:

1. Promoting the school as the friendly and supporting environment for children’s and their families, in order to prevent the illegal emigration in the area of Kombinat, Tirana.

2. Raising capacities of the pedagogical staff of the “Myslym Keta” high school, in order to increase their knowledge on the positive methodologies and inclusive education for all the students.

3. Raising awareness of the parents who live in difficult situation, on issues regarding the social services offered from the state institutions, about the illegal emigration and the real situation that a lot of emigrant face when they travel not prepared in another state.
4. To promote within the school, initiatives which help the development of the psycho – social skills and creative thinking of children, involving them in sportive, artistic, culinary and other extracurricular activities.

Expected results:

1. 25 teachers from the “Myslym Keta” high school will raise their capacities in creating e friendly environment within the class for all the students.

2. 150 youth from the “Myslym Keta” high school will be involved actively in artistic, sportive and advocacy activities within their school

3. 89 parents and community members will get informed on the negative consequences of the illegal emigration

Period of implementation: July 2019 – April 2020
