SUPPORT IN DISTANCE

SAD- SUPPORT IN DISTANCE

"PROTAGONIST OF A FRIENDSHIP WITHOUT BORDER"

The International Association for Solidarity with main partner AVSI Italy start to implement this program since 1998.Support distance is a program that consists in children education, which can be achieved by the real interest of adults in providing education and accompanying children along their journey.

Support in Distance, is a form of solidarity, which consists in a sustainable and continuous economic contribution by individuals, families, groups of friends, school classes, companies, institutions, parishes, organizations, etc. More than 800 children out of 38 children in 1998, embedded in nine centers, partners of this program in seven different cities of Albania (Tirana, Shkodra, Lezha, Rreshen, Plug, Berat and Vlora), are directly beneficiary of this economic contribution translated into educational activities.

A positive product achieved thanks to this program is that a considerable number of children, who have been direct beneficiaries of it, today are themselves among the people who offer educational activities for children who are part of this program.

How does Support in Distance Work?                                                              At the time of admission, the supporter receives a child's file with a photo and some general information about it. Together with the file the supporter will also receive a presentation of the dispute in which the child lives and the way in which the support given for the child will be used.Every supporter will be informed every single time during the year if he/she wants to know more about the child's performance. This, apart from the fact that twice a year, we regularly inform the supporter with the news about the child through a letter, photo and drawings by the children themselves and by the local coordinator the supporter receive a quarterly report  for the activities carried out during the year and the impact of them at the child’s life.

1.474 (children, young, teacher, and parents)

  • Private donors:

The future begins now. Believe, make the difference!
